As it will be a walking tour comfortable shoes or sneakers are strongly recommended both for men and women.

When visiting mosques such as Sultan Ahmet (Blue) Mosque it is expected to wear decent clothes as these are places of worship.

Scarves are provided free upon entry if you don’t have your own.

Please keep in mind that we only offer private tours which means that you can alter or adjust your tour according to your liking, preferences or priorities by sharing your thoughts with your guide.

You can always send e-mails and texts for your follow up questions or concerns but please make sure to check the FAQ for that topic first.

If your hotel is not within walking or public transportation distance your guide can provide you with a comfortable Mercedes van with air condition with 100 USD extra charge.

Istanbul…the most F.A.Q.

Q: How to meet my guide?

A:If you choose for a tour with a vehicle  your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to start the tour if its a walking tour you will determine together after a phone call.

Q: Can I state departure time for my trip?

A: Yes! We only offer private tours , so you can customize departure time. Starting times may vary depending on your arrival or circumstances but can not exceed closing times.

Q: Can I choose sights to visit on my own?

A: Of course! The itinerary is just suggested so you can change, add or skip the sites you want and replace with other sites or museums in accordance with your tour guide.

Q: How to buy museum tickets?

A: You can buy tickets in advance (ask for assistance please ),or  during your tour. Your guide will help you to purchase them. Official tour guides have priority at museum ticket offices.

Q: How about shopping in Istanbul?

A:  We want to focus on delivering high end private tours and don’t tolerate pushing or pressure for shopping. As rugs, jewellery and bags are made in many places those will be only optional and suggested. Only pottery in Cappadocia and leather in Istanbul will be on our schedule as they are part of the culture.

Q: How do I pay for the tour (s) ?

A: After agreeing on the final price and finalizing your custom made tour you can either wire a downpayment (minimum 50%)  and pay the remaining with credit card upon arrival or you can pay the downpayment via credit card mail order and pay the remaining in cash upon arrival.
